Ground Pork, Broccoli, and Sesame Garlic Noodles

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos (or Tamara or soy sauce)

  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 package of noodles (I use rice noodles)

  • 1-2 heads of Broccoli, chopped

  • Coconut oil (or Ghee or any oil you prefer)

  • 1 pound Pork /OR/ 1 package of tempeh (any other meat will also work)

  • Thai basil - chopped

  • Green onions - chopped

  • Sesame seeds - to top with

HOW TO:

  1. Make the sauce by mixing the 1/4 cup coconut aminos, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 2 tablespoons lime juice, 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced. Set aside.

  2. Make the noodles (follow instructions on package)

  3. While the noodles are cooking, steam the broccoli.

  4. Heat a skillet on medium, melt some coconut oil, add the steamed broccoli.

  5. Next add the noodles, sauce, and thai basil.

  6. Mix together until warm and covered with sauce.

  7. Top with sesame seeds and green onions.
